Returns & refunds

Changed your mind?

You can cancel your order and return any record within 14 days of delivery, as long as it is still sealed and undamaged. Tell us within 14 days, then send the record back within 14 days of telling us.

Records that have been unsealed can't be returned because you changed your mind, but they're still covered if they're faulty (see below).

You get a full refund of the record and the original delivery charge. Return postage is paid by you: we recommend a tracked service, as the record is your responsibility until it reaches us.

Damaged, faulty or wrong item?

If a record arrives damaged, is faulty, or isn't what you ordered, tell us within 30 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement or give you a full refund, including delivery, and we cover any return postage. In most cases you won't need to send the record back.

Just tell us briefly what's wrong (for example, "the sleeve arrived crushed" or "side B skips on track 3"). A photo helps but isn't needed.

Lost parcel?

Every order is sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48. If your tracking hasn't updated for 5 working days, or your order hasn't arrived within 10 working days of dispatch, contact us and we'll send a replacement or a full refund.

How to return a record

  1. Email us at hello@vinyldispatch.com with your order number and which record you're returning.
  2. We reply within 1 business day with the returns address and what to include in the parcel.
  3. Please don't send anything back without contacting us first, so we can match the parcel to your order.

Refunds

  • Refunds go back to your original payment method (card, Apple Pay or Google Pay).
  • For a change of mind, we refund within 14 days of receiving the record back. For a faulty or wrong item, within 5 working days of agreeing the refund.
  • Your bank may take a further 5–10 working days to show the refund.

Cancelling an order before it ships

Contact us as soon as possible. If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, we'll cancel it and refund you in full.

None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer.
